Who the Center Serves McGrane Self-Esteem Center partners with social service agencies, law enforcement and governmental agencies, businesses, schools, churches, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits to identify those who would benefit most from this life-changing experience. Sponsorships are awarded to adolescents and adults who have the potential to lead happy, productive lives and who are unable to afford the seminar tuition. Scholarships are also awarded to those who serve others – leaders, teachers, social workers, counselors, and others professionals who impact the lives of many – the "wounded healer."
Those served include addicts already in recovery, adolescents and adults in emotional pain, including sexually abused children and their families, adults molested as children, those who’ve been raped, victims of domestic violence and abuse, adolescents in foster care programs and childrens’ homes, and generally, those identified as in need. A Safe, Intimate Setting for Learning and Insight The McGrane Self-Esteem Center’s interactive seminars provide tools which help individuals gain knowledge and insight. Groups are restricted to small sizes, resulting in an intimate environment to facilitate emotional healing of body, mind and spirit. Programs are presented in a flexible environment of total unconditional acceptance. A sense of safety is created, allowing participants to delve into the source of their emotional pain, taking time to unravel the layers, leading to release and healing. Through this release, participants gain the ability to live and love more fully.
The two-day, "Making It Happen" seminar provides in-depth skills, information, life models and maps, as well as creative exercises that assist individuals in understanding themselves: their values, needs, and wants; how they make decisions; what motivates them; why they do the things they do and feel the way they feel. This greater understanding leads to unconditional acceptance of self as well as others and personal power.
In addition, the seminar focuses attention outward with emphasis on how we can better accept, understand and "read" others. An intensely focused, guided one-on-one exercise leads each participant to discover their life purpose, which has created life-changing results for graduates’
life paths. |
